Just a few notes on how we are recruiting members of Fearless to Fireproof.
First of all, thank you to our Fearless members, for your effort, hard work, and participation in events. Many of you have gone out of your way to come to events, including Cutter's Cry. moogle, ifrit, and coffer runs, and have done your best to gear up your main classes in order to optimize your effectiveness. This makes a huge difference, and we appreciate it immensely! You are all very important and you are appreciated.
Many have earned the right to join Fireproof and we want to invite you. Here's a few prerequisites and an overview of how we recruit to Fireproof.
1. We have a two week trial period for those who have just joined Fearless. What we are mainly tracking is your attendence. The minimum requirement for attendence in that 2 week time period is 7 of the 14 events scheduled, or 50%. There is an event scheduled every night, so if you can make it to 3 or 4 events a week, you've succeeded.
2. Fireproof has a minimum requirement of at least two classes at level 50.
You are not required to use it, but it is very helpful and can make or break wins. Good communication is most often one of the primary keys to success in endgame content, and voicechat makes communication much easier.
2. Talk in linkshell chat. The more you communicate with others in the shell, get to know people, know what's going on and how you can help, the better.
Just a few notes about Fireproof and what we are looking for in our members:
We are committed to excellence. As an endgame shell, we are looking for people who are passionate about their main classes and who strive to play their best.
This means doing everything you can to know how to play your class best (best skills, best techniques, tactics, etc). It means knowing what is the best gear and materia to wear, optimizing those as best as you possibly can, and constantly striving to improve.
When you aren't sure what skills, gear, materia, and tacticts are best for your class, take the initiative to find out, and focus on attaining those skills and items, in order to be your best.
In order to succeed, we need our members to optimize as best as possible their main jobs. Make sure you are completely optimized in your preferred jobs. It doesn't help to be mediocre at a lot of things. We will succeed when our members are excellent at their main jobs.
We are not an exclusive linkshell; meaning that we do not require our members to have just our shell and no others.This is because we know everyone has friends in other shells and we don't want to force anyone to have to leave those shells. However, we need our members to prioritize our events.
At our core, Fireproof is a group of friends who are committed to the shell and to succeeding in endgame content together. we are looking for members who are committed to our shell and who will prioritize our events. We can't be a successful linkshell if our members don't come to events. Every single member is important and is needed, and we have set up events so that we can get everyone involved as much as possible.
Attendence is huge in Fireproof. The higher your attendence, the more DKP you earn, and in turn, the more DKP you can spend to get gear. DKP is points that really show your committment level. The more committed you are, and the higher attendence you have, the more successful you will be and the more gear and drops you will get.
Everyone in Fearless are great players; you have done an outstanding job so far of coming to events, getting on mumble, learning who we are and doing your best to help get wins. We greatly appreciate all of your effort and hard work so far, and we are looking forward to you becoming members of Fireproof.
